Monthly General Meetings - Held on the first Monday of each month at Geneva Community High School, 416 McKinley Ave, Geneva (7 pm Socializing, 7:30 Meeting, 8:15 Program). General monthly meetings are not held in January or June. In May, the monthly meeting is our banquet and in December, it is the Holiday party. Both are still held the first Monday of the month. In July, the family picnic replaces the monthly meeting and is usually held on a different day of the month. Each meeting either has a topic for discussion or features a speaker who may talk on a variety of topics.

Support Groups
Stork Club for expectant parents and those with children under 1 year.

Mothers of Toddlers "MOTS" for those with children from 1 - 3 years old.

Each group meets monthly or semi-monthly on a social level to ask questions, share ideas and strategies with other members who have been or are going through the same things.

Club Clothing Closet - The club clothing closet is a confidential resource for members in need of clothing for their child/ren as well as maternity clothes. The gently used clothing is donated by other members of the club.

Food Pantry - The club food pantry is a private resource for members in need. The club and its members donate food, some baby essentials and grocery store gift certificates.

Helping Hands - The Helping Hands Program is a confidential resource service that offers both financial and non-financial forms of assistance to club members who are dealing with tough times such as bed rest, hospitalization, premature birth, family illness, divorce, or financial hardship. When someone in the organization is in need, Helping Hands is there to provide anything from dues relief and grocery gift certificates to meals, errands or a friendly ear.

Helping Hands Help Line - TCMOTTC members have first-hand experience in a broad range of topics and issues. Our Help Line is a unique directory of members willing to offer support to other members on topics such as: Adoption, Autism/PDD, NICU, Bed Rest, Pre-term Labor, Children after 40, Breastfeeding, Colic, Developmental Delays, Early Intervention, Food Allergies, GE Reflux, Infertility, Post Partum Depression, Allergies, Higher Order Multiples, Cleft Lip/Palate, Preemies, Physical Therapy and Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome, just to name a few.

Scholarship - Our club provides scholarships each fall for both adults and children. The scholarships are usually $100.00 and are given to four adults and six children. The money can be used for anything educationally related, such as college/university courses, preschool and school fees, park district classes, Brownies, Cub Scouts, etc.

They're private and they're free!

Family Holiday Parties, Special Activities and Social Events - We organize holiday parties and a summer picnic for members and their families that provide members with the opportunity to meet other members' families and to establish new friendships. We also organize special activities and social events throughout the year.

Fundraising - The Fundraising programs that we are considering doing this year include:
Jewel shop and share - This fundraiser is very easy, and everyone can participate. Please shop at any Jewel during these dates, bring the Shop and Share Identification Slip with you. After they have completed the sale and given you your total, provide your signature and they will fill in the rest. 5%-7% of your purchases will be given back to our club in the form of a check. Dates for 2007-2208: August 27, 28, 29, November 12, 13, 14 and December 17, 18, 19

Resale Raffles - We will be having a raffle at each Resale. The item will be something "popular" at that time of the year. Perhaps a bike raffle in the spring and a hot new toy in the fall.

Philanthropic Fund - The goal of the TCMOTTC philanthropic fund is to provide emergency basic need assistance as you seek the help of other professional agencies. We will provide basic needs for your children as well as information to enable you to establish more permanent solutions. We consider children's basic needs to include: food, clothing, emergency medical and dental assistance, necessary medical equipment, formula, diapers, utility assistance, and coats/hats/mittens.

Library - Our club maintains an extensive library of books, articles and DVD's pertaining to child rearing and multiples' issues available for use by the members.

Membership in both the Illinois www.IOMOTC.org and National www.NOMOTC.org Organizations of Mothers of Twins Clubs - Members will receive the Illinois State Saga and National Notebook, publications offering interesting articles and news about parents of multiples. You will also be entitled to attend their yearly conventions and other events at your own expense.
